Kicha Studios
"Kicha Studios" were established in 1999 by the two of us-Uri Barak (Momo) and Marko Gurkan. We made quality and professionalism our "raison d'être" while offering a skilled and guiding work environment, handled by an experienced team of technicians; all in a cozy and homely atmosphere- in the heart of the young, bustling neighborhood of Florentin.
"Kicha" include top of the notch recording, mixing and mastering rooms- all under one roof. The spacious facility allows multi-channel recording of big or small ensembles, including 3 control rooms and 5 separated transparent recording rooms. Each has its own acoustics, giving a different "color" to the sound (the Wooden Room, the Brick Room, the Dry Room and more). This separation enables eye contact between the musicians on the one hand, and a simultaneous yet separate instrument recording on the other. Having built in this unique way,the studio allows an optimal and precise recording method for all music genres and instruments;from electric guitar and drums;through vocals, strings and harp, while specializing in Ethnic music recordings (Oud,Darbouka).
Send us a track and we can overdub it 4 u.
