Hey! I'm Sarah and I have been a musician for 17 years, starting at the age of two.
Beginning in fifth grade, I studied at Mannes Prep College in Manhattan, classically training for 8 years. I studied chamber ensemble, orchestra, theory, solfege, and private study with Eriko Sato as well as Adela Pena. Now attending Purchase Music Conservatory on a very generous talent scholarship, my career as a passionate violinist has surely taken flight.
I set no boundaries for genre and style, as I play anything from classical, pop, instrumentals, new music, broadway, to movie soundtracks and more...
I have been a session violinist at Monk Music Studios in East Hampton, NY. On my mother's album "The Gold Album", I wrote and recorded very elaborate parts/solos. Beginning my years at Purchase last fall, I was asked to be a studio violinist for a large handful of musicians. It has been a lot of fun collaborating and learning.
Starting film scoring this year, I soon hope to create movie scores as well as be apart of them.
You can ask me to play absolutely any song, in any key; I will play it for you on the spot.
