Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I proud of Polo G first studio album because I enjoyed mixing it. I am also proud of All Teyana Taylor's Albums because I got the opportunity to record, mix, master and producer song for her. I also worked on 4 French Montana's albums that we had fun with. All albums got me over 20 plaques and I'm proud of my work.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on French Montana's new album
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Im kind of new here so I still learning this platform.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I use both analog and digital equipment to work on music. I and experienced with both and use both analog and digital for my success.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise the best quality you could find for you music
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I enjoy what I do and I love creating art for people to enjoy
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Would I work on their music and my answer is always yes. I could always find the time to help another artist reach there goal.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That what I do is easy and fun and games. I do enjoy every second of my career but when it comes down to Buiness things could get serious and cooperate really easily.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask how many songs do you need done and how fast do you need it.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you are ready to do serious work and don't window shop with professionals like myself
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take a Sony c 800 mic and a Neve 1073 with a cl1b with my lap top and we could still make hits on a remote island
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I been in the music business for over 10 years and I first got my shot from South Beat studios in Miami FL
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I work fast and clean by still keeping the soul of a song
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with Dr Drea because I have similar skills as him and would love to learn more from an legend
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always choose quality sounds and samples when staring a new song
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on rap, hip hop, r&b, reggae, and pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills is mixing and producing music
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a song to radio quality to meet industry standards and above
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Starting mix from scratch or starting from point of interest of the artist preference
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I mixed songs using Pro Tools and all wav plug ins, sound toys, vocal align and more. for playback I use NS 10 monitors and augspurger studio monitors and multiple headphones for my mixing and referencing. For industry mixes I mix all tracks on a SSL G 4000 analog mixing console. For producing I use logic pro and Fruity Loops with custom sounds.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Dr. Drea he inspires me because he knows and mastered everything that I do in music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Recording, Mixing, Producing & Mastering. Bringing my clients music to major label sound that translates on radio.
