We will co-write, record, and produce your retro/soul/reggae/folk music analog to tape for a warm vintage sound that truly stands out. We are a team of 3 (producer/engineer/multi-instrumentalist) that put our specialized care into your music at very competitive rates.
Let's be honest, there's nothing like the real thing. Tape simulator plugins, EQ tricks, even outboard gear just can't compare to the warm, tangible sound that a tape machine produces. We can record drums, bass, guitar, horns, strings, and much more directly to tape, giving your song a memorable sound. We will work together, developing your song - whether it be adding live instrumentation to your existing vocal demos, or taking an existing session you have and re-routing the tracks through our tape machines to make it special. You can record vocals remotely (depending on your mic / setup), or you can visit one of our studios (New York, Florida) to track your vocals.
A bit about us:
The Brothers Nylon are a twin phenomenon who have made a career out of their instrumental retro/R&B/funk/lofi analog music. They have amassed millions of streams on Spotify, and are savvy in virtually every genre. Mike mans the tape machines and plays killer drums, while Nick plays virtually every instrument under the sun, and together they are unstoppable music-makers.
Alex Cherney is a producer/singer-songwriter who in addition to his rising solo career has produced & co-written great sounding music for many artists. Alex seems to understand exactly how to make a song that demands repeat listens, with influences ranging from world music to indie pop.

Fantastic experience through and through! I had an idea for a song, and gave them a demo and reference tracks. The details/instrumentation they added brought my track to life exactly as I had envisioned. I would definitely return for future collaborations. These guys are the real deal, and I highly recommend working with them!

Rey is a fiercely creative and skilled artist. He asked me to produce an already fantastic song he had written and recorded basic tracks for on his own. He was easy and inspiring to work with, he stuck to his vision while giving me the freedom I needed to help take the track to the next level. We ended up with a really special track that we're both proud of and I would team up with him again without hesitation!
