An independent artist for independent artists!
Hey everyone, I have worked in audio production for 5 years now working on live and in-studio projects. I have recorded and produced albums and singles for independent artists at fair prices. For the last 2 years I have been working on recording and editing both sound and visuals for various podcasts. I love to learn about new mediums and styles of music so feel free to contact me to collab!

Endorse FabioInterview with Fabio
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I have worked extensively with BCF Records over the years. They are a great source for EDM, Heavy Metal/Rock, Soundtrack and Podcast production. I highly recommend you check them out! Tell them Fabio sent you!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Find out what instrument is doing what and where its place is in the song.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! I don't know why this is an argument among producers.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: My favorite thing is "the process". It can be the most frustrating and humbling experience at times but it is the most exploratory and rewarding.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your time frame? What genre is your music? What platform are you releasing the music when it is done?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure the provider is going to work "for" you. If you need someone to make beats for you don't hire someone that only records live music. Make sure they are qualified for you and work from there.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on rock, pop-rock, folk, hard-rock, experimental, and country but am open to all genres.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is listening to the artist's vision. From there I work hard to figure out sonic placement. After that engineering a song becomes easy.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Many producers and musicians inspire me because I feel that the more knowledge and inspiration you have to draw from the more unique your sound will be. Some examples are: Danger Mouse, El-P, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Howling Wolf, Steve Lilywhite, Tyler the Creator, and many many more.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do is recording and mixing music and podcast audio and visuals. I do also work on music videos on occasion.
