I'm a grammy nominated session drummer & musician, based in Ansager, Denmark, where I record High-quality multitrack drums for songwriters, bands, and producers from all around the world. I also offer live sessions via Skype so it almost feels like we're in the same studio.
So why choose me?
I’ve been in the music industry for many years and I have two masters from the Academy of Music in Denmark, which very few people in Denmark have done.
I’m not only a drummer, but also a classical percussionist, composer, arranger, piano player and bandleader in various professional musical shows, so I have a broad knowledge in many music styles.
I also do something I haven’t seen other online drum recordings do, that’s online video sessions through Skype.
Communication is a key element when you´re recording. In a “real” recording situation, a producer and a drummer will communicate a lot throughout a recording session, hopefully leading to a creative and inspiring end result. A lot of nuances will be lost if you only mail or talk before an online drumming session.
I have made a Skype set up so that you’ll be able to see and hear what I’m playing and we can talk together, and so that it almost feels like we’re in the same recording studio.
I take a lot of pride in being a musician, which is why I always try to deliver a 100% performance every time. Reliability, being on time and fast communication is also very important for me.

Endorse Dennis PDennis absolutely nailed the drum track, captured the style perfectly, and submitted an extremely professional multitrack with a very fast turn-around. Highly recommended.
Dennis is simply the best. Our band was looking for a session drummer and we decided to go with Dennis because of his background in various genres of music, professionalism, and openness to communicate. From the outset, Dennis was clear in communication and things felt really personal even though we were halfway across the world. The skype session is absolutely critical and we are so thankful for Dennis's recommendation on this.
As for the tracks, wow. The tracks/stems are high quality and honestly, are some of the best drum tracks that we have come across in all of our time working wi
Outstanding player, terrific professional experience! Dennis solves the one lingering problem with the Airbags model; iterations of takes can be time-consuming and frustrating for both parties, but using Skype, Dennis is able to let you "produce" his performance, walk through what he's doing, tweak things. Very god process! And Dennis is responsive and gets what you are after. Will definitely hire again!
"I am very happy with the outcome of my drum tracks. I have had a very pleasant experience working with Dennis as he responds very fast to emails and is very well organised. Dennis also goes the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied with the outcome. I would have no problem recommending him to anyone looking for a top-class drummer".

He’s not only a great drummer but also a great musician, which is hard to find. I’m lucky to have met you, as you change the productions where I am involved, with your playing, style and musicality.”
Baris Buyuk, Producer, Istanbul, TurkeyI hired him in 2016 to lay down drum tracks for me on an original song "A Better Day" and he provided a better mix than I ever thought I'd get. He was able to immediately get the style I wanted for the song while adding bits and pieces of his own. I really enjoyed how he approached my song. 3 years later, he laid down drum tracks for 3 out of 4 original songs for my EP, The Rush. Overall, Dennis is a professional and it shows - he is very punctual when releasing mixes to a client and drumming and mixing experience are top-notch.
Calvin Thomas - Composer & MusicianDennis P really delivers what you want. We had a short Skype session and a few hours later there were 16 tracks of best quality. We asked for a few dubs and they came soon after. Really efficient and not expensive and we saved many hours of drum programming and got the real thing instead. This is definitely not the last time we work with Dennis P. Can only be recommended.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: They have different strengths and weaknesses. Nothing can beat the sound of analog gear but it's typically very expensive and don't fit too well in a modern DAW production, with presets and templates I have a hybrid setup with both hardware and digital gear the hardware gear I have, also have digital functions, like presets, so it's the best of both worlds.

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'll bring my musical experience and will also come with my own suggestions if I think it will suit the song better.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: 1. People contact me with info about the project and sometimes they have attached the song they want me to work on. 2. I answer and will try to ask some additional questions if needed. 3. If they want to do the project with me, I try to come with some date suggestions for a skype session. 4. When we have found time for a skype session, I'll require some more info about recording sample rate, bit rate, tempo, etc. I also ask if they have any ideas for the drum part? 5. After the skype session, I'll record the song and send an mp3, so the client can hear my take. 8.
