I won't only do it different for you.. I'll do it better! Nothing but quality lyrics for you on this side! I do everything from hooks, verses to full songs so get in touch!
What sets me apart from your everyday rapper is the fact that I am not your everyday rapper. I'll make sure your lyrics are presented in a way that takes you to the next level of lyricism while still maintaining your personality. I am open to all types of hip-hop & R&B. Just let me know how you want your presentation and I'll do my upmost best to give you the high quality product you deserve.
I am very approachable, easy to speak to and I will keep you in the loop with how your song is developing at all times. Music is my passion and songwriting is the foundation that got me into music in the first place. I am always trying to push the boundary for good, clever bars so you for sure will not be let down in this department. My music has found itself on Spotify editorially curated playlists such as RAP IE as well as featuring on independent blog music playlists, Irish radio stations such as RTE 2FM, SPIN 1038 and America's 'Excitement Radio' in addition to multiple blogs and magazines.
My musical influences range from both the UK's and American hip hop scene. I take inspiration from artists such as Wretch 32, Avelino, Chip, Bugzy Malone and Unknown T from the UK to Pop Smoke, J.Cole, Drake, Joey Bada$$ and Saba so as you can tell, my range is quite wide. I as well dabble into R&B every now and then with my own angle.
I look forward to working with you in the near future.

Endorse DENDOI've worked with Dennis outside of soundbetter on 1 ep and 7 singles, I have been in the studio with him 100s of times and I have recorded everything he's ever released, I can tell you that Dennis is very hard working, has a very unique ear for music, and will definitely give you quality content. I know from experience
Interview with DENDO
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Music overall inspires me! I'm not restricted to a few particular artists because sometimes it can just take a great track from an unknown artist to inspire me! I would though say when it comes to production Monte Booker and Zak Higgins are levels above!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My phone to write my lyrics, My laptop with FL Studio on it. My Mic. Headphones and a powersource to make sure I continue to make music for someone even if its just for me!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Know exactly what you want. Its ok to be picky because it's your art at the end of the day and when its released for the public to access it is you who is under the public microscope to be judged unless stated otherwise! If your service provider isn't meeting the standard you set for yourself, don't settle! With that being said. Be careful who you entrust with your work make sure they are reliable and passionate about the artform and they aren't trying to just make money off you. That's what ends up saturating the scene with lazy, unoriginal content.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first ever EP 'Blackberry' (2019). Lyrics by myself and fully produced and engineered by 'Strawberry Production' AKA Zak Higgins. I look back on it and I am proud of it being my official stamp as a serious artist in Ireland who is capable of creating a body of work. It is a very honest project and the reception was mind blowing for me with the positivity I received. I've learned a lot since then and I'm determined to exceed that benchmark I set for myself those many months ago.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: 2 musical projects simultaneously.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Omo Aston is a great option. We've made a few tracks together and he caters more to Singer-songwriters in the R&B/Soul category as well as dabbling into rap every now and then. He's the full package.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: A dedicated effort to give you the best song possible. Your work will be valued, carefully approached and prioritised.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: When listeners are able to grasp the emotion and idea I am conveying through my lyrics and connect with them. The feeling never gets old!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's easy. Making music is not easy at all. The public only judge the final product and don't see the work that goes on behind closed doors as cliché as that is. But at the end of the day it is true. It's not easy to constantly come up with creative song concepts and have the lyrical content to boot. So with that being said there is room for misses as well as hits. I do end up getting it right but it may take me a few trials and errors. I am human at the end of the day but one thing is for sure is I will always give an honest 100% effort.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Tell me a bit about you and your musical background. What makes you make music? Does your song have a concept/message? Is there an anecdotal experience attached to your idea? How much creative freedom do you want me to have with the song? Do you mind profanity in your song? Do you have an instrumental ready for me to reference?
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've always been passionate about music from young. I became a fan of Eminem from very young. I started rapping after I saw a good friend of mine perform on stage. His stage presence and impression on the crowd was unforgettable and made me believe in myself. I've been making music for what is I think 2 and a half years now but started releasing professionally as DENDO in 2019.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop & Rap. I can write to R&B beats too but not in the singy kind of way. More Bryson Tiller way when he incorporates rap.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My pen game. As I said, lyrics mean everything to me. It's what got me into hip hop and rap in the first place so I work to make sure my pen is sharp and continually getting sharper.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Originailty. Rap culture is officially mainstream culture now so its extremely easy these days for anyone to hop on a mic and recycle the same old lines and lyrics. That's NOT what I am about. I care about the craft more than anything else so when you hear a bar, you'll be at peace with the fact that the lyrics will be kept as authentic and true to self as possible. Tell me a bit about what you want your song to achieve and I'll make sure you stand your song stands out from the rest even with the most generic of song titles!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically replay the given instrumental over and over and flow over it until I find what I'm comfortable with. From then on its all about coming up with good original bars which I'm constantly improving on. I love a good bar so if I don't feel I'm meeting a certain standard, I start again. If I don't like it, I don't expect you to like it. Your work satisfaction is guaranteed in that right.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting! Typically for rappers of all kinds. Whether its someone looking to better their lyricism with a few edits here and there, to rappers who want a whole song from scratch. I'm an open book and down for the challenge!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I've been quoted as a 'hard hitting wordsmith' in the past so I guess I'll go with that because I like that label!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'm going to cheat and say Saba and JID. I love Saba's lyrics and overall artistry. Meanwhile JID's lyrics and flow together is truly crazy. That's the bar I'd set for myself. To one day reach that level and inspire people in the process like they do for me.
