Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm superproud of this song called "Cold war" that will be featured on a motion picture this year.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a couple projects for dj Chuckie and Yellow Claw, also I just dropped my single "Insanity" check it out on iTunes!!! And I'm working on my debut E.P. Which will come out in June 2016!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yeah, Mickey Shiloh is awesome
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I, myself am digital PURELY because I'm too young to know about analog!! But I love the sound of it!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll do my best to work around you as an artist so we can come up with a song that screams "You"
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: That I can be creative EVERY day! And release my emotions in music every day in all kinds of cool ways!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: What inspires you? Anything How do you know the vocal range? I can tell by the way you talk
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception is probably when people think you need a whole army to write a hitsong. I rather work with a small unit (special forces!)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your style And what do you wanna talk about? Is there a specific concept and whats the image like?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone that can make a unique song for you, that suits you and screams YOU when you hear it.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, mic, two speakers and an interface! Hopefuly they have wifi.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started when I was 9. I was in a girlgroup at age 15. Then did musical/broadway for a year when I was 16. Then I got into a music University and graduated on a fast track at 19. I toured with my band in Europe for a while and then I left to United States and met a bunch of cool grammy award winning moguls such as Darryl Simmons, Chris Dave, Sean Garret and Anthony Dent which I work with as of this moment.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Young, fresh, popular but still edgy and soulful.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Tori Kelly I think. I might have a cool image idea for her.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be free! Keep it authentic and real!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, R&B, EDM, HipHop. I work a lot on EDM at the moment with DJ's such as Dj Chuckie, Landis and Yellow Claw.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is probably using my voice. I'm. Very technical singer which comes in handy for getting a certain sound from you at times. Or even helping you reach a particulair note.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A song should take the people out of their ordinary stress and worried life for a moment and allow them to escape on this journey which you call your story. I make sure it's personal yet fun and relatable.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I write to a beat I get sent to me or I write a song from scratch and send it to the producer to build a song around it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio. A macbook pro, A baby bottle and an interface.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I get inspired by the work of SIA, Diane Warren, Poo Bear, Sean Garret etc.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I write hitsongs, vocal produce (i'm a certified vocal teacher) and I record songs/demo's for record companies/dj's etc.
