Versatile and thorough- I write, arrange, play. I've played extensively in various latin, jazz and pop scenes on both coasts. Featured flute soloist on a Grammy-winning latin album (Pacific Mambo Orchestra), named "Rising Star" 6 years in a row in Downbeat Magazine Critics Poll.
I've tour and recorded in many different scenes. I'm happy creating swirling, pulsing woodwind landscapes, or punchy horn stabs, or soft jazzy fills in the back corner. I have been a professional musician since 1998, composing and performing on saxophone, flute, clarinet, afro-latin percussion and vocals.
I have performed/recorded/toured around the world with notables like Stevie Wonder, Michael Buble, Me'shell Ndegeocello, Talib Kweli and many more. In 2019 I toured with the Tony Award-winning Broadway music "The Band's Visit", featured prominently on-stage on saxophone, flute and clarinet.
