HIGHLIGHTS: I've been singing since I was 7 years old and writing songs since I was 12. I won an emerging artist competition hosted by the GRAMMYS when I was 20, I got my first record deal when I was 23 (Epic Records). I have songs that have garnered over a million streams each.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Lipstick Gypsy (lead singer/ songwriter) we accomplished a lot of cool stuff!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I've been putting out singles all year for my personal artist project and I'm continuing to work on that

A: Matt Dougherty - Mix Engineer/Producer (He's my go to for mix/master)
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. It all depends on the sound you're looking to achieve but I will say digital does a damn fine job of emulating some of the analog stuff.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always give you my best
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Nothing else on this earth gives me a sense of fulfillment the way music does.

A: customer: "We need hits" me: "say less"
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Doing "big things" doesn't always convert to money. We creatives dedicate our whole lives to the art and a lot of times, especially in the beginning, nobody sees your craft as deserving of a $ amount.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I want to know exactly what they're looking to get out of working together. I want our first attempt to be pretty damn close to a bullseye so references are always helpful!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started singing at 7 years old. I started writing songs at 12. By the time I was 17 I was living right outside of NYC and began doing shows performing my original music. in 2015 I signed to EPIC Records with my Duo called Lipstick Gypsy. We put out two songs through the label which both have over 1 million streams each. I performed on The Today Show, I've been in a national Hyundai commercial both acting in it and having my music featured. I've had magazine write ups, celeb endorsements etc. Right now i'm focused on my solo journey and doing some songwriting/producing for others as well.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My sound walks a line between pop radio and who hurt this kid? ;)
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to write a song WITH John Mayer I'd love to write a song FOR Justin Bieber
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When choosing sounds to work with try and find one that sounds great from the start rather then spending lots of time trying to improve a mediocre sound

A: Pop music/ R&B music

A: My vocal ability

A: Strong/Catchy melodies tighter pockets with phrasing lyrics that go beyond the surface Professional Vocal refs
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After talking with my client and getting an understanding of what they need I tend to work quickly. I go with my gut instinct and follow it. Most of the time, your first instinct is your best and then you work to refine it.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My setup is primarily used for cutting vocals and I'll admit its basic but listen to my songs before you judge ;) I have a Neumann TLM 102, Scarlett 2i2 interface, Pro Tools 12 with lots of sounds and plugins
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Always the hardest question because our taste is always changing but I grew up on Motown (MJ, Temptations) and R&B (Brian Mcknight, Boyz II Men, Lauryn Hill) and then after my teen years I fell in love with Pop music! Right now I'm loving John Mayer, James Arthur, Ed Sheehan, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The work I do most commonly is taking a song that is a rough idea and turning it into a completed and competitive sounding record by bringing strong melodies, re working phrasing and, bringing fresh lyrics/ideas.
