20+ years experience in the industry focusing on producing a cappella groups and singer-songwriters. Master of Melodyne and audio editing and shaping in ProTools. Engineered and Mixed songs for BaSix and Naturally7. Multiple wins and nominations for Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) dating back to 2001.
I am a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, writer, and arranger that has produced thousands of songs ranging from collegiate a cappella to singer-songwriters to full bands. Through the a cappella productions I've done over the years, I've mastered the art of seamless and transparent vocal/audio editing. I received a music degree from Tufts University where I focused on classical guitar and music directed and performed with an a cappella group for 3 years where I contributed over 50 vocal arrangements. I trained in sound engineering at Blue Jay Recording Studio (Carlisle, MA) in the late 90s and since then have been working in the industry. Services range from simple audio editing to full-blown song, EP, and LP production.
As a producer, engineer, writer, arranger, instrumentalist, and vocalist, I'm able to arrange and perform music from top to bottom or to whatever degree the artist needs. I know how to work with artists to help them get the most out of their creativity and achieve the full sound they are looking for.
I'm well versed in Piano/Keyboards, Acoustic Guitar, Classical Guitar, Electric Guitar, Violin, Mandolin, Electric Bass, and Vocals. I'm skilled in drum sequencing and some keyboard programming. The Attic Studio is fully outfitted with acoustic and electric instruments as well as analog equipment of the highest quality.
