Composer, Producer & Engineer

Nolan Trotter is a musician and audio engineer based in Brooklyn, New York. Trained by legendary producer/engineers (Bob Power, Kevin Killen, and Michael O'Reilly) at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Nolan is well versed in both high end studio engineering and analog equipment.

Born and raised in Chicago, Nolan spent his youth listening to alternative rock and making music. Releasing his first album at 13, Nolan's musical drive at a young age allowed him to dedicate his life to music and art.

In high school, Nolan studied experimental composition and music production at the Chicago Academy for the Arts. During this period, Nolan gigged around Chicago with his music schoolmates backing him up. These psychedelic rock concerts laid the groundwork for his next chapter of life in New York City.

Nolan moved to Manhattan in 2022 at the age of 18 to study at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. He formed the band Dell'Acqua with his fellow peers at NYU and they would go on to perform all around the USA. While he gained performance experience outside of school, Nolan was rigorously trained by some of the top engineers and music industry professionals to be well-versed and technically skilled in the recorded music business.

In the fall of 2024, Nolan moved to Berlin to study experimental music production. During this period, he spent his time expanding his musical palette listening to Krautrock acts like Can to Nick Cave and exploring Europe's club scene.

Nolan returned to New York City in early 2025. He continues to play shows with his band and for his solo project. His time is spent mixing and recording new projects to come.
