Hey y'all ! I have been playing the drums for the last 16 years! I also produce beats ! I record drums with a 6 mic set up & produce beats using logic pro X with a bunch of VSTs ! Been working with musicians across the country and with multiple bands. If you want good sounding drums on your music or dope beats, you have come to the right place !!

I am a drummer and a beat producer from India. Played more than 1500 concerts till date ! Started learning drums in the year 2003 from Jus Drums School Of Percussion, Chennai under the tutelage of Mr. Murali Krishnan. Started performing at the annual day concerts hosted by the school and from there on started performing in intra-school culturals representing the school and won in almost every cultural event ! My drums tutor gave me the opportunity to perform with several industry stalwarts which really refined my playing over the years.

By 2010 my drum tutor trained me and i had completed all the Grade exams conducted by the TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC, LONDON and topped Asia in the DrumKit exams and won a bunch of awards.

By the time i was in college i was performing with my band Witchouse and we won a local talent show and from there on started working with a bunch of other bands like Grey Shack which was a Hard Rock band, INDOSOUL By Karthick Iyer which is Contemporary Indian music bleding with Rock, Jazz & Blues, Amrit Rao & The MadRascals was more of Everything.

By 2012 I had started doing session work Live & in the studio for a bunch of playback singers & Music Directors from the South Indian Film Industry such as Music Director Amit Trivedi, D.Imman, Sid Sriram, Sean Roldan, Pradeep Kumar, Aroll Carolli and Shakthishree Gopalan to name a few!

  1. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  2. A: As someone who has grown around so much music I can't just pick one . There is too many to of them that I want to work with . BILLY SHEEHAN , CHARLIE PUTH, DIGITALISM, EMINEM, JOYNER LUCAS, PAUL GILBERT, TONY LEVIN, VICTOR WOOTEN, RICHIE KOTZEN, T.M.STEVENS and A.R.RAHMAN to name a few .

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Sometimes Space is what is needed . LESS IS MORE .

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Rock / Pop / hip -hop / R&B

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: Anything and everything about Drumming !

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I think a groove is what holds it all together and at the same time it should be absolutely what the song needs and compliments the other elements in the track. So many years into performing LIVE has made me capable of giving the song what it needs and not more and not less .

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: I import the .wav files that the clients send into logic (the software) and set the tempo they had mentioned and loop the song and just keep playing over it till I am feeling it through and once I feel it's in my muscle memory I hit the record button. Once I am done I will export the audio files as seperate bounces and send them back to the clients and will await to hear what they have to say about it and once I know they are happy, I move on to my next project .

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: So I have a Pear Vision Birch Artist series DrumKit. To record the drums I use AUDIX mics . •1 mic for the kick drum •1 mic for the snare •1 mic for the rack toms •1 mic for the floor Tom •2 mics for the Overheads My DAW is LOGIC PRO X. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 soundcard .

  16. A: Mike Portnoy, Gavin Harrison, Dennis Chambers, Thomas Lang.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: I am a drummer/Beat producer and I have been fortunate enough to work with a lot of musicians from different walks of life and music and I listen to a whole lotta music that's made me versatile . So I could pretty camouflage into any genre.
