10% off thru Sept! I can help you finish a song with vocals, guitar, piano, or editing and cleaning up your audio.
I am a multi-instrumentalist and singer that currently works as a Christian music minister in a church setting. I also have a home studio on the side and produce and record my own music as well as help out others with projects. I don't specialize as much as do a bit of everything depending on needs. I would say my best skill is vocal work, but am proficient at guitar both acoustic and electric and piano keyboard. I also have top quality software to assist in audio editing including Melodyne 5 studio, Autotune Pro, Izotope RX9 advanced, etc...
I can sing on your track, provide you some instrumental tracks, or assist in your editing process. Let me know what you are wanting and I can work with you to decide if I am the right guy for the job or can point you in the right direction. I do this in my spare time and don't take a lot of projects, so your work will be a priority for me if I accept the job. I can do a good quality, solid, dependable job - & I do excellent above average work for less than you would pay for a full time studio pro, and hopefully can provide better one on one communication and a lower price to get exactly what you are looking for.

Zach was fantastic to work with! He was very concise on what he was looking for and provided and excellent track for me to work with. I had so much fun tracking guitars on his Christmas song. Can't wait to hear how it turns out!
Zach is an all around Renaissance artist. He has a deep understanding of music, an expressive voice with a compelling timbre, and he’s a skilled multi instrumentalist, producer, and engineer. Plus he’s a great guy. Endorse 💯.
Interview with Zach Walker Music
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am in the process of writing a Christmas album to be recorded in 2022.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yes. For a female vocalIst and song/melody writing talents I would absolutely recommend Michal Towber.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital - it has gotten so good I can’t tell the difference anymore.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to treat your song like my own and not give you something less than my best. I can’t promise you will like it because all our tastes vary, but I will do my best to work with you to find a solution if it comes to that.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like the solitude of diving deep into a piece to make it great.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How long will this take? That depends and is circumstance dependent - lets discuss your specific situation. There may be times where I would like to hear your music and bounce a few ideas off you before we even start to determine if I am going to be the guy for the job.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That musicians are unapproachable or too busy to genuinely take interest in your project or ideas.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I like to know your expectations upfront like I say above. I prefer not to work with someone that suggests just “do something cool, or something that sounds good”. That opens the door for disappointment.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be very clear of your expectations upfront. Don’t just ask someone to come up with something they think sounds good. It’s your song and you will be happiest if you are making the decision to what goes in it. If you just don’t know - then it is ok to ask for ideas from someone else but be clear.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A Guitar and 4 extra sets of strings would last the longest for me I think and would keep me entertained for yrs.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been playing music since I was 5. Currently I serve as a worship pastor at a church and a part time musician outside of that with my own music.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Laid back but professional
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never take a shortcut thinking you won’t notice it in the end, because you will.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Christian contemporary, sing/songwriter, pop/rock, and my favorite is Christmas music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I think my singing - there seem to be more great guitar and piano players than singers around so I think I stand out in that regard.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Quality tracks that will be usable for you to complete your song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to discuss expectations right off the bat and find out what you want, then I am realistic about if I can provide that or you would be better suited to find someone else. I’m not here to just take your money and turn out a product if it isn’t what you are going to be happy with.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use pro tools with a variety of top notch mics, instruments, and software plugins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have been inspired by too many to list.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Provide ready to use vocal, guitar, or piano tracks to a provided song that has already been charted out or has lyrics and melody provided.
