Makoto is drummer based in Los Angeles. He has been fortunate enough to work with some major artists including Gwen Stefani, Eve, Rickie Lee Jones, and Missing Persons just to name a few. He also has had the chance to play with great musicians in Los Angeles like Michael Landau, John Beasley, Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Haslip, and Armand Sabal-Lecco.

Hi guys! My name is Makoto Izumitani. I've worked with artists such as Gwen Stefani, Eve, Missing Persons, & many more. I have been fortunate enough to perform at Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and Brit Awards.

I've been a professional drummer for 25 years. I specialize in RnB, Pop, Country, Alternative, Hip-Hop, Jazz, label ready demos, music production, mixing and drums, percussion, loops, arrangements.

I’ll send you an mp3 rough mix for your approval, do one round of revisions if needed, then once you approve and release funds, I will send you either stereo drum track or all stems as .wav files dry/processed. Fast turnarounds are my superpower, but recently I've been quite booked :) Expect 3-5 day turnaround.
