Session Drummer/Producer

Hi! My name is Michael Oloyede, I'm a professional drummer from Lagos, Nigeria. I've been playing drums on stage and the studio for more than 15 years now, but I have also developed myself as a session drummer and got to work with a great variety of artists and music genres. I always do my best to serve the music, and I'd love to work with you.

I had my music education at The MUSON School of Music and Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. I have worked on various records across many genres such as funk, christian rock, afrobeat, jazz, pop, world music. I played on songs for artist and producers such as Cobhams Asuquo, Lagbaja, Kaline, Nathaniel Bassey, Wole Oni, Oluwadamilare Akinyede and many more.

I have toured and shared the stage with artist such as Lagbaja, Marcus Miller, Bobby Ricketts & Tony Bunn, David Baroni, Bob Fitts, Kaline, Chinaza, Ayetoro, ASA, SOMI, Hamish Stewart, Omar and many more.

It is my passion to create music with others. I aim to provide excellent communication and pay strict attention to details. And I will do all I can to make sure you get exactly what you want for your project.
