A: One project I’m especially proud of was a bilingual pop-soul track where I was both the lead vocalist and co-writer. The artist wanted to blend English and Portuguese lyrics seamlessly while maintaining a heartfelt, cinematic vibe. I crafted the vocal melodies, wrote lyrics, and recorded layered vocals that captured the emotional arc they were going for. The song ended up being featured on a popular playlist and got amazing feedback from listeners — it was incredibly fulfilling to see it connect with so many people.

A: At the moment, I'm working on a few exciting international collaborations — including a soulful R&B EP with an indie artist from the UK, where I’m contributing both lead vocals and topline writing. I'm also wrapping up a commercial jingle project in Portuguese for a Brazilian brand, and recording harmonies for a pop track with a producer based in LA. A: That it’s just about having a "nice voice." There’s so much more involved — vocal interpretation, emotional connection, recording precision, harmonizing, arranging, and often songwriting. Vocals carry the emotion of a track, and delivering that takes both art and technique.

A: I usually ask: What’s the story or emotion behind the song? Do you have a reference track or artist that captures the sound you’re going for? A: I've been immersed in music for over a decade. I started singing and writing songs as a teenager, performing locally while studying music and vocal techniques. My professional journey truly took off when I began collaborating with producers and artists in both Brazil and internationally. Over the years, I’ve refined my skills in vocal performance, songwriting, and music production, working across genres like pop, R&B, soul, and even electronic. I carefully mic the vocals using my Shure SM7B or Aston Spirit microphone, ensuring optimal sound quality. Production: After the vocals are recorded, I move on to production, using Logic Pro X to arrange the song. I incorporate various instruments and sounds, leveraging my MIDI controller and plugins to create a polished sound. Mixing: I mix the track, balancing the vocals and instruments while applying effects to ensure clarity and impact. I utilize Waves Gold plugins and iZotope Vocal Suite for this process. Both connect to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, providing excellent audio quality and low latency. For monitoring, I use Yamaha HS5 monitors, ensuring a clear and accurate sound. I also rely on Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones for precise mixing and tracking. My workstation runs on a MacBook Pro with Logic Pro X as my primary DAW, allowing for seamless recording and editing. I utilize a range of Waves Gold plugins and iZotope Vocal Suite for mixing and enhancing my tracks. To add creative flair, I have an Akai MPK Mini MIDI controller for composing and experimenting with different sounds. This setup enables me to deliver high-quality vocal performances and produce professional-grade music from the comfort of my home.
