Mediabase charting LA based singer/songwriter that combines unique melodic elements and commercial music to create magic. Genre- fluid- from lofi pop to R&B, I will make any song sound radio ready.
Hi! My name is Alexia and if you are ready to have a unique, sellable, and dreamy song, I am your gal. I will topline, compose, or record demo vocals ( with ad libs, harmonies and doubles). As well as comp the vocals, so it is seamless for producers. My lyrics tell a story and I focus on creating that melody that will take you to the next level.
My songs are currently charting on Mediabase, and are playing in major stores like Target and H&M, so I will make sure it is radio-ready but unique to your own sound . I will write to ANY genre from pop to R&B- and I often combine these elements to create a cohesive song.
You will not be disappointed in my work, and I will give it my all until you are happy with the results.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your musical journey! Struggled a bit with sending vocals files comped to the instrumental but was able to work around it after a few hiccups.

Rebecca was a pleasure to work with! She's a great songwriter and singer and puts in the work to make sure everything is as good as it can be. I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Always a big fan of work with Alexia - her melodies are natural and flowing and her performances bring the finished songs to life. She has a great work ethic and attitude which helps make the whole process feel comfortable, fun, and authentic.
Interview with Alexia Rev
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I have a song: Drop Down coming out in October. I am performing around LA and releasing a ton of new music in 2022.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you want people to feel? Who are your inspos? How do you imagine the song visually? Where in your voice are you comfortable singing? Is there anything pressing you want to write about? Production inspos?
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Iphone for Voicenotes/lyrics, ,mic, midi, computer
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was writing for ten years for myself. I took some time off for school and I was lost as to what i wanted to do. My fellow songwriters told me that I had a gift and i could not just pass it up. I released my first song in 2019, and it played in major stores as well as charted on Mediabase. I was shocked because I did not put any marketing to this song, so I decided to really go for it. I know have been gigging and I am releasing a ton of new music as well as writing for other artists.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: An eclectic mix/ anti genre artist. My songs effortlessly blend influences across pop, funk, R&B and classic rock. My glue to songwriting is a fixation on the universal essence of “the groove.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Matt Maeson. His song Hallucinogenics is a masterpiece.I will tell you why. His lyrics are poetic but digestable and his song makes me feel deeply. I cannot listen to that song without singing. He makes me want to be a better writer. Olivia Rodrigo. Not one of her songs are bad. NOT ONE. She seamlessly creates these melodies that are incredible and thinks outside of the box, especially her bridges. She doesnt stick to one genre and i think I would learn a lot from her.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop and R&B
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My melodic progressions. I have been told that i go melodically where other songwriters do not think to go.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the groove and deep lyrical ideas but they are also easily digestable. I bring ideas and progressions that many songwriters do not gravitate towards. I have been told that i seamlessly create melodies and that is because i do not overthink. If you want a song that is sellable but also unique, i am your gal.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I really go with groove first. If i am playing around with chords, I will close my eyes and feel the music. I usually come up with a hook that I love and start conceptually with melody. I then, take a word that i mumbled and create a story and concept that creates a beautiful marriage. I write quickly and I trust my insticts and if a song isnt hitting in one hour, then i move on. I also am a huge fan of voice notes. I write super intuitively, so i am often in my car or at the grocery store and i will have an idea.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use a Neuman TLM mic, keys, and midi
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am incredibly inspired by Anderson Pak, Mac Miller, and Olivia Rodrigo.. i know what a mix
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
