Endorse Matt GreeneI used Matt Greene for practically everything as far as post sound production for my feature film. He handled all the ADR, sound effects, foley, mixing and so much more!!! Hearing the final product at the film’s premiere in a massive 5.1 surround sound theater setting was incredible. His attention to detail is extraordinary, adding elements to the background that I never even thought of... creating such a superb and realistic feel, scene after scene. He has made himself my first call when entering sound post! Can’t recommend enough.
As an actor recording ADR, I have worked with Matt Greene on at least 5 feature length foreign films, 3 live action and 2 animated. He is professional, detailed and precise in his efforts to capture the best possible sound quality, tone and feel for the project and client. I look forward to one day again, stepping into a sound booth and seeing Mr. Greene at the helm sitting on the other side of the glass.
Matt listens to what the artist wants to convey and brings out the best in them. Every time I have worked with him, it was an absolute pleasure. And the product he produces is a million times better than I could have ever dreamed of! He is very professional, and always open to suggestions as well. I recommend him to any and everyone.
My name is Jeff Black. I have worked as a music Producer for RCA Records, Telemundo Television and multiple independent musical artists in New York and South Florida. I have employed Matt Greene to Mix many of my productions and have always been delighted with the results. He has a keen ear and objective perspective. He has complete knowledge of all of the modern tools and also of legacy hardware.
The mix he creates is always clear, clean, powerful and emotionally satisfying.
I highly recommend him.Matt is very professional, he is timely, meets deadlines, communicates well, and has a great ear for music. It is always a pleasure to work with him. His background in film/tv and music makes him ideal for mixing songs and releases that will be used in conjunction with music videos and/or films. I would highly recommend Matt, he will make your basement recording sound like a Billboard top 40 hit!

Interview with Matt Greene
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I first like to have a detailed conversation with my client to learn as much as I can about the project and what they would like to accomplish. After receiving the files and importing into Pro Tools, I put together a rough mix and usually check-in with the client to make sure we’re headed in the right direction. From there I get to mixing. I usually will have a polished mix within one day but I like to give It the night and listen again with fresh ears the next day before presenting to my client.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the excitement of starting a new project and the fulfillment of finalizing a great mix. The whole process is what I live for.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Just as a musician should play what’s best for the song, I believe a mixers job is to enhance and polish the greatness that already exists in the project. I tend not to be heavy handed with my mixing techniques. Instead, I find small adjustments in the right places have a bigger impact.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work in a small studio setup on Pro Tools 2020.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I love analog but I prefer to work in digital for ease of use, cost, and efficency.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Hard Rock, Metal, and Pop Rock. But I enjoy a wide variety of genres.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work is Post Production Sound Design and Mixing for Film and TV. I have more recently been doing more music mixing for Hard Rock independent artists.
