Trained at Berklee College of Music, Emily is a professional session violinist and top-notch composer for your TV/Film/Documentary/Media project. Educated in all genres, I have performed/recorded on Violin with and for Justin Timberlake, Thomas Newman, Harry- Gregson Williams, Aoife O'Donovan, and many more.
Emily Gelineau is a Film Composer, Violinist, Pianist and Vocalist hailing from Perth, Western Australia. Commencing her musical studies at the age of 4 on the violin, she has spent over 16 years dedicating her life to music in all forms. Classically trained as a violinist, pianist, and singer, she won a music scholarship to her high school Perth College, and now studies at Berklee College of Music on an Asia Pacific Full-Tuition scholarship, where she studies Violin Performance and Film Scoring. Emily reaches vastly different genres on her instruments, from classical to now studying jazz and many world styles like afro-cuban/latin folk styles, Indian styles, flamenco, and Brazilian Choro. Her experience composing for Film and TV is broad, recently composing for Australian documentary "Spreading like Wildfire" about the 2020 Australian Bushfires. She has played with and for many artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Shreya Goshal, “Kermit the Frog” (at Newport Folk Festival 2019), Robin Pecknold, Toninho Horta, Justin Timberlake, I’m With Her, Billy Childs, Chuck Rainey, and many more.
