Bespoke keys recordings for your track; specialising in pop, jazz, fusion, 80’s sounds and more. 10 years studio experience ensures authentic sounding Wurlitzer, Rhodes, piano and synth parts with great attention to detail; very happy to work with the artist to ensure 100% satisfaction.
I am a 27 year old keys player, and have been a live/studio musician for over 10 years now. I have collected a vast and varied amount of experience during this time, working with Grammy/Brit award winning producers and touring the world with various artists. Although my main live gigs are on the 80’s circuit currently, I actually specialise in pop, jazz and fusion playing, and feel most at home creating, tweaking and performing parts in the studio. I am dedicated to creating the best and most appropriate part possible for your track, and will enjoy working closely with you, the artist, to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the final result!

A: 100% satisfaction guaranteed!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Depends really. Questions about the song, what they'd like etc.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't be afraid to make notes and critiques on ideas that people send you until you get the perfect take! If you feel there's something that can be improved, if you want adjustments or have any ideas, we would love to work closely with you to achieve the perfect take.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Prophet 5, Wurlitzer 200A, LA Custom Rhodes, Clavinet C6 and a wah pedal.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: Pop, jazz, soul, funk, electro etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Communicative collaboration, a vast range of playing styles and sounds that can be vastly altered to achieve the perfect keys track for your song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listen to the demo/guide track. Grab a pen and paper and write everything I'm thinking whilst listening to it. Get in touch with the artist/client to discuss what parts they would like put on the track. If they would like my input, I am happy to help. I then jump in the studio and play around with sounds and styles until I find a few that fit. I then send over examples of what could be put on the track (a few times over) and work with the artist/client until we have our perfect finished product.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Currently using Spectrasonics' Keyscape to achieve the hyper-realistic sounds of Yamaha C7 Grand Piano, LA Custom Rhodes, Wurlitzer 200A, Clavinet C and more. I use a Nord Electro 4D for Hammond Organ sounds. In the retro synths frontier, I am currently rocking a Prophet 5, Jupiter 8 & more.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Thundercat, Tyler The Creator, Chaka Khan, Deadmau5...the list is endless.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly record pop, jazz, soul, retro synths, electro etc, but love working on all styles!
