  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Very proud of my latest project called NEXT LEVEL, it's an international program that welcomes artists from all over the world who work together on an album project. I got the chance to be invited and represented France during the 2 weeks project in Washington DC and NYC. I got to write, record, produce and mix half of the album project with artists from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Costa Rica, China, Korea.

  4. A: working on various projects, including hybrid Hip Hop & Jazz project, composition for dance shows and mixing documentaries

  8. A: Both ! A balanced, warm and powerful mix & master could need analog and digital... It's all about the record, and the artist...

  12. A: The fact that I get to discover new universes with each projects.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: What do you think of the recordings ? I most of the time give them tips to avoid certain issues on their next rrecordings: like : treat your room, avoid glass near your mic etc...

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That I can understand what a client wants just by listening to a demo.... Exchange is necessary, I have worked with the top engineers in this game and even them without a proper conversation or exchange can go wrong when mixing a record... Every artist is different and our work is to make sure we help to shape their vision not ours...

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started back in 2006 in Paris studios: Belleville and then Plus XXX. There I met legendary people like Cassius, Phoenix, Mafia K1 Fry, DJ Mehdi and many others who gave me knowledge and the strength to pursue my carreer further to the USA which was my dream as a child. I then moved to NYC where I started working at the legendary Quad Studios.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is hybrid, a mix of my experiences, my life path, my cultural upbringing

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Dr. Dre because of his mastery at making timeless records that shaped the sonic of the music I grew up on. And Kendrick Lamar (again ! ah ah ) Because he is a guardian of Hip Hop culture.

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: I work out of two different studio rooms: smaller setup and the big room with the Neve Black Genesys, Apple MAC M4 Pro, Univeral Audio Interface and plugins, FOCAL, Yamaha & Avantone monitors, Telefunken, Neumann, Beyer Dynamic, AKG, Blue, Warm Audio, Midas, Bolling Designs etc.

  32. A: Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Imagine Dragons, Jay-Z,

  33. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  34. A: Producing, Editing, Recording, Mixing and Mastering

  35. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  36. A: Duplicate your sample track. filter the low end on your first track and keep it as your main part. Now on the second track of your sample, you can now do the opposite and cut off all the top so you can only keep the bass part of your sample. (Now adjust to taste along composition) or try to solo the bass sample track to make a special effect during your song.

  40. A: I know how to use my tools to technically translate someone's idea into a record.
