Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm wrapping up a melodic drum and bass track, and starting up on a lofi hip-hop track led by Stranger Things-styled synths.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What do you want to inspire your listener to do? How can this music help the listener see beyond themselves?

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started out as a kid in his bedroom, inspired by Owl City. I've gotten a lot better at producing in the eleven years since then, but in many ways I'm still just a kid chasing pretty sounds.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Be very careful when using OTT. It can mess up your transients and make your final song come out dull in the mastering stage, which is the exact opposite of what you're using OTT for! Some very intentional compression and equalizing can give you the same results as OTT, but with much more control of the final product!

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Two musicians that inspire me greatly are Porter Robinson and Adam Young. Primarily, because their music doesn't seem like it belongs on this earth, but we are blessed to have it here anyway. I always aspire to make music as transcendent as theirs.
