Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: UNMASTERED. I did everything from top to bottom. 10 tracks and I hold 5 production credits. I mixed the majority of the tape and finalised by Young Artz. I designed the cover, linked all the lyrics online. Spear headed the marketing rollout and created all social media assets. Used the full extent of my degree (Digital Media Production). Managed to be featured in the Sheffield free Magazine 'EXPOSED' with a full page interview and background about 'Caide Online'. Performed on the DJ Ag City Tour (Sheffield) for his online Tik-Tok Live events in partnership with Waterbear College. Over 16,00+ views organically generated through YouTube and other platforms. Not bad after a three year hiatus.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A mixtape titled .I.S.Y.T (Mixing Engineer).

A: Digital and I haven't got to grips with Analog (learning)

A: Why haven't you gone 'clear?' It's all in due timing and a season for everything.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I can play the keyboard.

A: How do you see yourself as an Artist in a few years? Do you have a campaign ready for the project? What are your USP (s)? Do you know your target audience? How do you want your music to feel and make others feel? You ready to deposit?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communication is key for me to efficiently work.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: UAD Apollo + wiring, Macbook Pro (latest one), Nuemann TLM 103, Audio Technica ATH-M50x & a 10TB SS Hard Drive.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I wanted to be a footballer however life doesn't always work out! I have been officially making music for 10 years now, (unofficially, 16+).
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Bass first and the rest follows.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Skepta. I feel like have a similar grime sound that sounds and feels premium (radio ready) upper echelon type vibes.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make sure you are checking your LUFS (-18 the sweet spot). Bonus tip: Syncopation, learn about it utilise it!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: A lot of UK rap.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Discernment.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Character & authenticity.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It entirely depends on the project but it is definitely not linear.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a modest setup. Nothing too major. Neumann TLM 103 with a UAD Apollo X (not sure what generation but T4). Yamaha HS8's paired with ADAM Audio reference monitors. My trusty Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED Laptop and a whole lot of will power.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Young Artz, DR34mz & BTB Omz. Anyone who is around me that have a passion for Music. I admire that.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually undertake a lot of Music Videos. Sometimes I am with the project from recording all the way to filming the video for the client and helping with the marketing.
