James Sanger is a British artist developer, A&R, talent scout, producer, mixer and deal broker, credited with developing and breaking a wide range of influential debut hit records with emerging, unsigned acts across alt-indie, alt-rock, alt-punk, pop, electronic and singer-writer genres.

Working from VibeyStudios, his private residential recording and filming studio complex by the sea, James develops a small number of artists and bands each year — always before there is label or wider industry involvement.

His work has been recognised with 15 BRIT Awards, 7 Grammy Awards, 2 Ivor Novello Awards, and a Mercury Music Prize (2024).

As of 1 January 2026, records he has worked on have generated 13 billion views and 8.4 billion streams, earning 4× Diamond and 21× Platinum certifications.
