I am an accomplished singer-songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and pianist. I would love to help bring your musical vision to life! My musical home-base lies at the crossroads of indie/alternative, folk, and rock. My softer songs evoke the quieter side of Bright Eyes or The Avett Brothers. However, I also enjoy turning up to the driving power of modern rock, akin to Rise Against or the Foo Fighters.

Beyond the music itself, one of my strongest gifts is listening and understanding—absorbing your ideas for a song and giving them the life they deserve.

Writing songs always captivated me; I've been doing it since I was in grade school. Holding on to music as a passion throughout adolescence and college, I found renewed inspiration when I traveled to South Korea to teach English for two years. I was highly moved by the rush of new adventure and experiences there, finding particular inspiration in the vibrant street music culture.

I returned to the U.S. determined to blaze my path in music. These days, you may find me in Charlottesville, VA, playing the craft brewery circuit, teaching lessons, and working on my upcoming albums.

For me, music is something you live and breathe, something that renews you every day, something that you cannot help but share. It is that passion and vision that I will bring to our projects together!

Max is great! He creates custom songs and is really dedicated to honing his craft and performing. He’s great in Logic and can cut vocals for you, guitar, vocals, and produce the song for you. Highly recommend!
