Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I arranged and recorded horns on the last song on the last Prince album.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I just finished a pitch for Rhiyanah's super bowl show. I just did horns on a remix for Janet Jackson.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Soulful, tasteful, funky and creative.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Soul music and pop.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Magic baby. I help tell the story of the song and bring it to life. I'm the icing on the cake.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Great treated room, rojer 121 ribbon mic for trumpet. Protools. My string section is based in Nashville. They have been recording together for over 35 years. Some of the best in the business.

A: Trumpet stacks, horn section and live strings.
