I work on music because I'm better at it than anything else aside from being very fun to hang out with. Let's not break the bank. Down to play on or produce almost anything, although I feel most comfortable in an Indie/Rock/Folk/Singer-Songwriter setting. I went to school for jazz, so I'm versatile. Let's talk!

I arranged and played upright/electric bass on Humbird's record Pharmakon and co-produced, played upright bass and drums/percussion on Eliza Eden's record Time Away From Time. Other collaborations include playing bass on Guerilla Toss' "Smack The Brick" and Wei Zhongle's The Operators and Nice Mask Over An Ugly Face. I also have my own project under my own name of which I've released 2 full lengths and an EP, with another full length on the way.

Pat impressed the heck out of me when he played with Humbird at the River Bend Folk Festival in Saint Peter, MN, on 9/7/24. I am a big Jack Bruce fan. Pat's the best bassist I've seen or heard since Jack died. 'Nuff said.

Pat is one of those people whose work you literally never have to worry about. He has an incredible ear and passion for both playing and all-around production. My experience working with him has been focused, driven, and most importantly, fun. Definitely recommend him for getting your songs off the ground or just a rippin bass part!

Pat and I have worked together on countless projects over the years. Pat has an incredible ear for parts. He's a consummate upright bassist, and also slays electric. Anything from avant jazz improv to dance rock to delicate folk music, he's your guy. He's also a solid guitarist and percussionist -- kit, shakers, triangle, wood block, you name it. He's selfless in his focus on capturing the heart of the song, while also trying to push the boundaries when it's needed.

Cannot stand more fully behind this guy. He makes creative choices seem obvious and effortless, and is someone who strengthens any song he plays on / produces. A superb bassist, inventive guitarist, and remarkable songwriter. Also very fun to hang out with.
