Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I have been musical since a young age, grew up a competitive dancer, always around and listening intently to music, as well as teaching myself to play instruments in high school and beginning to hone in on my craft. I attended Belmont University in Nashville TN and sharpened my skills during my time there. I then decided to become a pop artist, not just a writer and began pursuing it very heavily. I have now found myself writing consistently for sync, and working on new music to release for my artist project!

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Working in Logic: you can change the key of a track a half step, by pressing "Option" and either the up or down arrrows.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: My Apollo Twin X Duo, my Yamaha HS5's, my Shure SM7B w/ a Cloudlifter, an acoustic guitar and a midi keyboard.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Stevie Nicks - I'd love to pick her brain about her experiences and where she pulls inspiration from.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Pop, Indie Pop, Soft Pop, Dream Pop, Alt Pop, and music for film and TV - cinematic, trailer, etc.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: Acquire assets, begin figuring out a melody, solidify the melody, attach lyrics, edit, record leads, comp and tune them, record doubles, harmonies, octaves, etc. and tune those, process vocals through my vocal chain and deliver!

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Stevie Nicks, Lennon Stella, Dominic Florio, MUNA, Maggie Rogers, etc.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: I write melody and lyric toplines and record full final vocals with bgv's.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have a home studio with state of the art gear and good vibes, for getting that pristine clean recording and the best song possible.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is your goal with this project? What are the most important aspects of the song to you? How do you want the final product to sound? What style of lyrics and vocals are you going for?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Make sure you speak with a few different providers to find who can suit your needs best, to ensure a smooth process!

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I am a lyricist at heart who loves to get creative with catchy melodies. My artist project leans indie pop - commercial, yet bending some of the rules and incorporating a lot of live instrumentation. My writing/vocals for Film/TV ranges from super bratty pop and urban to cinematic and powerful trailer type songs. My writing style varies depending on what the client needs. I would say I am very versatile in that area.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring the excitement! A song should catch your attention both lyrically and sonically, be it via melody or the music itself.
