That song you have inside your head? Let's get it out.

I'm a producer and songwriter in Oakland, CA. 10+ years of production and songwriting experience, specializing in contemporary RnB, chill electronic, pop, and hip-hop music.

I want to take that song you have playing in your head and turn it into a reality.

Recorded a demo on your voice memo app in your bedroom? From my studio, I can take your demo or top line and provide a beautiful orchestration beneath it - giving your idea the stunning foundation it deserves.

I love to work with new artists aren't afraid to try something extraordinary.

Together, we'll make sure your song is complete and ready for recording. Then we'll collaborate on ideas for arrangement and I'll write and perform the parts to track (Ableton). Finally, we'll make edits to the recording until we're happy with the final product, and I will prep the session for mix. If you need help finding recording, mixing, and mastering engineers, or are unsure how to ready / deliver your song for distribution, I can help you with that too.

I'm ready to help you make music that captures listeners. Contact me and let's get started.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

I honestly could not say enough to even give this man's talent, creativity, or professionalism any justice whatsoever. Davis "Yandi" is by far the best producer I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I've been working with Davis for a little over 2 years as he co-produced and mixed the first track I ever put out on streaming platforms. Since then we have worked on multiple tracks together, some projects getting started from simply finding a random voice note in my phone and Davis turning it into a fully well thought out professional composition. Trust me, he's the man for the job.

Look no further than Davis (aka 'Yandi') to take your idea and absolutely run with it..

I've been fortunate enough to work alongside him these past few years and have learned so much in regards to songwriting/composition, sound design, production techniques, etc. Having personally collaborated on many songs, I'm constantly blown away at how he manipulates sound to create something so unique & moving with ease. I have the utmost confidence that you will have a finished product that you will proudly push to your audience when all is set and done.. A+ recommended!!

Yandi is hands down one of the best producers I have ever worked with before. The things I have witnessed him create and how fluid his creative mind shifts is something to admire. He is extremely professional and a phenomenal communicator. One thing you can always expect from Yandi is how honest and upfront he is. He is not shy to let you know his opinion and whether an idea works for the composition or not. That is a rare gift to possess and I absolutely recommend anyone who wants a high quality product.

Interview with Davis

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: If I'm in, I'm all in.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: It's making music!

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: "Can you make me a quick demo so I know you can do it?" No - I cannot.

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: Be open to new ideas and directions, and don't take things personally!

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: My piano My guitar A drum set Cabasas A Cello

  13. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  14. A: Trust the first idea that comes into your head. It may not be the idea that sticks but it's the first step towards the next one.

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: I would say my best skills is pushing artists out of their comfort zones. I always think there's another level of potential artists can unlock and usually it just takes a push from someone. Another skill is being able to speak honestly when asked my opinion. Beating around the bush is nothing more than a waste of time.

  17. Q: What's your typical work process?

  18. A: I like to set up a call to not only go over the track, but also to get to know you. I think relationships are extremely important in music and having a human conversation to get to know each other lays a great foundation for collaborating. I want to know the why behind this song and be able to capture the "you" in whatever we write together.

  19. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  20. A: I've built my studio to be as flow enhancing as possible. To my right is my piano. Above that is my SM7B Mic. I work on Yamaha HS8's and an Apollo Twin, with my guitar hanging on the wall beside me for easy access.

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: It's hard to know where to start! Below are a few of my favorite albums but to be honest, this barely scratches the surface. Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd Channel Orange - Frank Ocean Pollyanarchy - Hermitude Urban Flora - Galimatias Too High To Riot - Bas Interstellar Soundtrack - Hans Zimmer Flume - Flume Jungle - Jungle CTRL - SZA G.K.M.C - Kendrick Nothing Was The Same - Drake Under Pressure - Logic Built On Glass - Chet Faker

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: The majority of my work is for performing artists (Songwriters, rappers, and singers), but I have also written for podcasts, YouTube channels, and short films.
