Professional trombone player and sound engineer. I would love to record trombone to your music or help you mix/master. Specialized in acoustic music with a great knowledge and understanding of music.
Hi,
I'm a Swedish musician and engineer that work with two things; playing the trombone and mixing/mastering music.
I'm a musician from the start, educated in the most well renowned schools in Sweden as a trombone player, since then playing at numerus gigs and on lots of albums mostly around jazz and other acoustic music. For the past ten years I have also been working with my studio, Studio Glasfågeln. Working with recording, mixing and mastering, mostly acoustic music, around jazz, neo-classical, folk and other.
I can help you with:
- Trombone recording, either from sheet music or improvised.
- Mix and master of your music.

Gustav is a great engineer who did an excellent job mastering my song! I am very impressed with Gustav's ability to get more transparency and more natural-sounding 'punch' out of my final pre-mastered track. He and I communicated well with each other and, to be brief, Gustav was a top-notch professional in every aspect of this job. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any musician or group looking for a highly skilled, experienced, friendly engineer to work with on their project.

Gustav Davidsson has been amazing recording the trombone section for a big band chart I wrote. He went the extra mile using different trombones to make it sound like different players! Great intonation, great timbre and he CAN swing!!!

Thanks Gustav for the quick turnaround and good recordings! Gustav is very easy to work with. He did a lot of takes of different parts, I really appreciate that!
Gustav is an amazing trombone player. He just recently added trombone to one of my tracks on my upcoming album. He was quick and easy to work with and I was more than satisfied. Fantastic tone, great feeling and you can hear he is really listening to the music. Everything from performance to recording sounds very professional. Even though his background is in jazz I believe his style of playing fitted really well into my indie/pop/rock Bon Iver-ish kind of music.
