I am a professional trombone player that loves to record!

Hi,

I am a professional trombone player that loves to record! I love to make a contribution to a song, to give something extra to the music. I am mostly an improvisation based musician and can create a trombone part according to your wishes. I can of course record from a sheet, but it is not necessary, we can discuss and create together. I feel comfortable playing in many genres, I have played a lot of jazz and blues but have also recorded everything from punk to electro pop.
I also run a professional studio (Studio Glasfågeln) so I have good equipment and knowledge to make a great sounding recording!
I have studied at the most well renowned schools in Sweden and have been a freelance musician for several years after that, and played on about 50 records.
Here are a playlist with some examples of my playing: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4L7XUzsAnYnVWKd8m9q9GU?si=hXygAsrhRa2B8TDy6j03rg

Gustav Davidsson has been amazing recording the trombone section for a big band chart I wrote. He went the extra mile using different trombones to make it sound like different players! Great intonation, great timbre and he CAN swing!!!

Gustav is an amazing trombone player. He just recently added trombone to one of my tracks on my upcoming album. He was quick and easy to work with and I was more than satisfied. Fantastic tone, great feeling and you can hear he is really listening to the music. Everything from performance to recording sounds very professional. Even though his background is in jazz I believe his style of playing fitted really well into my indie/pop/rock Bon Iver-ish kind of music.
