Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment I have hand in a plethora of projects with upcoming and established artists mainly of the Soca genre. I am also currently the COO of NuuGen Records.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer analog’s warmth and natural bodiful sound, however I give thanks for the technological advancements that allow us to integrate creativity with efficiency.

A: I promise to take my time to produce magic!

A: What type of song are we working on? Exactly what do you need assistance with? Are you opposed to making any changes if need be? Are you sensitive to taking direction? What is your deadline?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would advise them to do research and be open and willing to communicate.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, mic, headphones, interface, a battery pack
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been in the music business as a professional for more than 15 years. I realized I was interested in music and the business as I graduated high school. I grew with experience as I received opportunities in multiple genres and markets.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is intuitive, personal, smooth and efficient.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Caribbean Fusion type music...Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, Afro Beats, etc.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is that I Am able to intuitively know how to channel energy. I am capable of speaking the language of an singer/artist and a producer.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring creativity and clarity to any song I am a part of. I have the ability to enhance
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio set up. I use a UA Volt 1 Interface, a Lewitt LCT 240 mic, a Mac laptop, with two studio montiors and headphones.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have been inspired by many industry professionals such as Kuk Harrel, Oak Felder, T-Pain, Pharrell, to name a few notable ones.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I most commonly work as a Vocal Producer and Creative Director.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: In Soca, dancehall and reggae, a RIDDIM is a compilation of multiple songs on the same beat. I produced a riddim named Breaking Dawn Riddim in 2016. The mixture of Afro Beat with Jab Jab music alongside the bangin’ songs, grabbed the attention of Soca lovers everywhere

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like finishing a project and releasing it. When it’s received well I love the satisfaction it brings knowing that I was a part of that.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it’s all about the money. I tend to go above and way beyond the money that I get paid. If I and the artist aren’t satisfied then the money reward doesn’t mean much to me.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with anyone dope!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Recording music is not only about the technicalities. Pressing record, stop and play, is only a fraction of the process. Take your time to understand the artists’ voice, mannerisms, and personality. Match their energy and help them bring their vision into fruition.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My typical work process when recording would be making the artist feel comfortable, exchange energy and ideas by talking and reasoning before they even touch the booth. We normally go over the song by singing out loud to make sure we have the right tone and vibe for the song they came to record. I like to take things step by step but be efficient in a timely manner.
