Sharon did a great job toplining my track. She got the idea and the vibe perfectly, and added a beautiful emotive aspect. Add to that a professional communication and a quick turnaround. I recommend!

Sharon was very easy to work with, and she had a great enthusiastic vibe for the song she worked on. I appreciated her attention to details and her tonality, which is very pure. I would definitely recommend her highly.

Sharon was great to work with. She took my general description and turned it into the music I needed. She gave me three in-process samples along the way, which gave me the opportunity to provide feedback and fine-tune the work. She finished ahead of schedule. Very happy with the process and the end product.

Sharon is great to work with - she is a talented singer and multi instrumentalist with great business savvy - thanks Sharon - here's hoping you get a great result I am sure you will! If you need a talented multi instrumentalist vocalist with great musical knowledge extending to production skills Sharon is the bomb!
Sharon was wonderful to work with for the first time! She met my tight deadlines and was transparent about her own - a huge trust-builder in this industry. I'd love to work with her on a project where she has more room to shine her many musical talents!
Sharon is an AMAZING artist! Beautiful voice, incredible songs, wonderful recoring/production quality and is just awesomely perfect live too.
She recently added harmonies to some of my songs and took it way beyond my own wildest hopes for what could be added and made my songs soooo much better....
I've also been lucky enough to just jam and hang out with her at festival gigs and she is a sweet, fun and lovable human being too....
Interview with Sharon Knight
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am writing and recording a collection of songs inspired by the many moods of the ocean, which will become part of a larger project that will involve education about the health of our oceans and what we can do to help.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: There was a time when I would have said analog, for the warmth and the "curved" feeling, but digital modeling has gotten so good these days that I would now have to say "both". I love digital for the convenience and sheer variety, and analog for the immediacy of its character.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Over-communicate! The more details you can give your provider the better they can understand what you are going for. Paint a picture for them, and don't worry if it feels like too much. It won't be.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I was a full-time touring artist for nearly a decade before I decided I'd like to spend less time in my car! My husband and I played all manner of quirky folk festivals. Some highlights include the Faerieworlds Festival in Oregon, a Medieval festival at a castle in Germany, and the Steampunk World's Fair in New Jersey. We've also played several Celtic festivals and house concert series. Before my touring career I did sound design and Foley for an audio post house called El Mundo Bueno Studios, who mostly worked with indie film makers in the San Francisco Bay Area. That was great fun! I have been involved in music and sound professionally for about 15 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Otherworldly. Ethereal yet powerful.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Spirit and aliveness. There is a certain quality when you know you have captured a song; the way emotion is conveyed, the way the inflection makes something inside you crack open. This guides my work on every song.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Although I have created soundscapes for clients, singing and top-lining are what I am best known for. I am told I have a great sense of melody and it comes very naturally to me.
