I'm passionate about creating the music artists hear in their heads. My definition of a successful mix is one that elicits emotion and communicates the full potential of a song.
A well-known producer once wisely told me: "Our artists' names will be in big letters on the front of their albums. Our names go in small letters on the back." I think that's the best summary of why it's difficult for producers and engineers to talk about themselves on the internet; we are not the heroes of music. I'm no exception to that. When working with talented songwriters, bands, and musicians, my primary goal is to facilitate the music that already exists, stay out of the way, and to inspire them to be brave and vulnerable.
I offer full-service production at my studio in Nashville (The Planetarium), and I also spend a lot of time mixing live shows (clients include Mat Kearney, Drew Holcomb, Ben Rector, Colony House, more), but I wanted to create this page as a "landing pad" for artists looking for a professional mix at an affordable rate.
Send me an email and let's talk about your project!

Thomas was really easy to work with! He gave great feedback, which was helpful for the song, but also didn't push if I didn't like his ideas. Would work with him again for sure!

Thomas was a pleasure to work with— friendly, fast, but most importantly, very talented mixing. Definitely recommend his work!
Thomas is as good it gets. He has the unique giftings of being able to draw out the very best in every artist and musician that he works with, while also creating an atmosphere in the studio that is both fun and laid-back. Thomas is a visionary, a true professional, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone better.
Thomas is a class act. He's a wonderful sound engineer, producer, mixer, and most importantly, he's fun to be around. He's very musically gifted and great with people. What more could you ask for?
I have worked with Thomas on almost every project I have ever done, and not once have I been dissapointed. Thomas is kind, knowledgable, thoughtful, and passionate about helping you succeed in your goals. Thomas cares about you, your music, and your creative success.
Thomas mixed and engineered our "Live from the Ryman" record and we have gotten rave reviews from our fans for his work. He is easy to work with, incredibly knowledgeable and capable in the studio. I highly recommend him.
Not only did Thomas engineer my record, but he produced it as well. Super talented guy! He knows just want to say/do to push you. I felt so comfortable around him, and I feel like he helped me create the best sound possible for my project. Thomas isn’t the first person I’ve worked with, but he will be the only person I work with from now on. You would be lucky to work with this guy.
A generous and giving producer and mixer, Thomas Dulin doesn’t hesitate to help at every turn. He cultivates both a safe and challenging environment to work in—a difficult thing to achieve. If there’s a corner to cut, he won’t consider it; if there’s a snag in the line, he’ll spend time untangling it. If you’re looking for a reliable, highly-proficient and creative producer, mixer and editor look no further.
Besides just being an all around great guy, Thomas Dulin is one of the most talented and hard working audio engineers I have ever met. It is very important for engineers to understand what their clients need/want. Thomas possesses this ability and will go above and beyond to ensure a successful project and make everyone happy.
Thomas is a super talented producer and mixing engineer. He has great attention to detail and great ears. You're in good hands if you trust your project with him!
