    This guy is awesome. Came up with a intro that really made the song great. Sent him 3 different songs of different styles of music. He hit it out of the park with all three different styles. Great tone and great creativity. It really is awesome working with Ilan..I highly recommend using Ilan!!

  4. A: That I can read minds and immediately understand what you hear in your head

  6. A: Any artists with mutual respect

  7. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  8. A: I’m proud of most of the jobs I did , but was very happy to participate in project that I would never think I will be a part of , such as playing with an African band from Mali , or Algerian Kabyle singer

  10. A: Creating a set up with my iPad where I do use loops and sequencing to trigger synths and be able to sound like a whole band by myself

  14. A: Digital ... that’s where the world is going Still love analog , but it’s becoming less practical and more expensive

  26. A: Been playing bass since I was 14 (I’m 43) 6 years ago I started working with clients via the internet ... although I love the studio vibe , it’s a cool and easy way to work

  28. A: Easy going cool groovy bass player

  30. A: Once in a while I like to take off plugins and parts I added along the way to see the difference between what I started with and what I have now , mostly to take off stuff that don’t really add to the vibe or sound

  32. A: Mostly fusion and funk A lot of rock and metal Jazz Had my share of experience with electric music

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Don’t want to sound repetitive but groove is my strongest skill on bass ... the difference between playing a note and make a note groove or stand out

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Mostly groove and vibe

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I like to jam along with the track I receive , then ask the client if he has a vision of how he sees the bass

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I work on MacBook Pro with Logic Pro I normally record 2 bass lines simultaneously on through Di and another through Cab Sim to be able to mix them

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: Simple but interesting and grooving bass lines
