  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked as a background vocal arranger and vocalist for The High Note Movie Soundtrack in 2020. It was during the pandemic so I did all my backing vocals from my home studio under the guidance of the legendary producer Rodney Jerkins. It was truly an honor and rewarding to be a part of something during such a different time in the world.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: New song demos and writing for placement opportunities.

  8. A: Digital, it’s just so convenient these days.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Quality is everything! If I am hired for the job I will always put my best foot forward to make sure you are satisfied.

  12. A: It’s what I love and I can express myself creatively.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Customers typically ask me how soon can I turn the work around. My goal is always turn work around in 48-72hours depending on the extent of work needed.Sometimes it can be sooner.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That it is easy and anyone can do it.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What is your vision? Do you have a reference of what you are going for? How soon do you need it? Do you have any preferences?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Communication is key. Don’t be afraid to tell the producer/writer what your vision is and what you are aiming for.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: Graduated college in 2012 and then signed on as producer/writer with PAJAM production team in 2013. Received my first Grammy nomination in 2016 and since then have been working with different artist,producers and opportunities in tv/film.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I like to mesh my gospel roots in with the soul of and meaningful expressions of R&B. You will feel the content I produce in your soul.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Usher Raymond. I have always been a fan and respect what he has brought to the industry.Infectious spirit and a great energy!

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Be original. Find the sound that works for you and develop it.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: R&B, Soul, Gospel

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Songwriting and arranging are my strongest skills. Knowing the formula of a great song and the direction needed to elevate it is very important.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring strong melody and relevant lyrics to the songs I am apart of. I also know the importance of strong background vocals and how to elevate a record as the song progresses.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I receive a track, I listen,develop a concept and begin laying melody lines. I then create the lyrics and lay the leads down,followed by background vocals.

  42. A: I study writers and producers across all genres. Some of my inspiration’s are: James Fauntleroy, Eric Dawkins, Dream, HitBoy, Paul Allen, James Moss,Ester Dean,Jermaine Dupree,Kirk Franklin

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I am a Grammy nominated vocal arranger and songwriter.Outside of writing songs I do vocal demos for producers, background vocals for artist and help with arranging to make the best song possible.
