Tony is not only a super talented singer and songwriter but also a fantastic collaborator and a truly kind person all around. Couldn't ask for a better client and I feel very privileged to have played small role in his musical journey.

It was a pleasure to work with Tony on this project, his vision was clear throughout the experience and he gave me actionable notes that I was able to use to turn around a quick, great-sounding song. I would love to work on as much of his music as he'll have me on!
Interview with Tony ForresTT
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on a personal project of my own entitled TIME. This project is a raw sound with simple vocal arrangements and nostalgic r&b story telling.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital is the new wave. Despite the charm and unique sound of Analog, I would rather work more efficiently, and quickly .Digital is setup to accomplish both those things incredibly well.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The idea of tangibly producing something beautiful from conceptualization is one of the most rewarding things as a creative. I also love meeting other creatives and watching how they express themselves through their art.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: There are misconceptions that being an artist is easy and fun. Truly the idea of being creative is a lot of fun and relatively easy, however when deadlines and other pressures are involved it can feel very much stressful and stifling.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The best advice I could give you is to know what you want and need. There is nothing wrong with being specific. This is your project, and creativity is multi- dimensional.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Hmmm, I would bring my iPhone with all my music| Bose Headphones | Mac mini & Focusrite | Aston Microphone |
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is rooted in old school R&B and extends to Pop | Hip-Hop | Alternative R&B | Dance |
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise is to give each client 100% of my focus, dedication and creative resources to not only complete the project but be incredibly proud of the end result.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Can you help me create a HIT? My response is normally " I would love to help you create a song that can connect to the masses" but remember there is a lot of footwork needed to have your music not only see the light of day but also be heard by many. I am just one important piece of the huge puzzle.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Music has always been my career path, been activly doing this for 10+ years and counting.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: LYRICS | MELODY | VOCAL ARRANGEMENT |
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My home studio setup includes JBL Monitors | Focusrite Audio Interface | Great River Pre-amp | Origin Condenser Mic | Logic Pro DAW.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Alternative R&B Vibes |
