Pablo Langaine on SoundBetter

Pablo Langaine is a Mexican and American composer, producer, and songwriter who creates music inspired by the folklore of his Latin American heritage, fused with traditional orchestration, contemporary expressions, and virtuoso guitar. His most relevant music department credits for film, TV, and games include Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark.

Self-described as a “Music Creator and Curator”, Pablo Langaine redefines authenticity from an intensely personal perspective, carrying diverse Latin American traditions from his native Mexico City to the multi-cultural mecca of Los Angeles, where he fuses those sounds with rock, pop, concert, and electronic influences to forge a singular and ever-evolving sound. Pablo was partly raised in Brazil and lived in Europe, between Barcelona, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, before moving to New York City and Los Angeles, where he has established himself as a standout voice amongst a new generation of television and film composers.

Most recently, he wrote the music for the documentary “Us vs Us” (Catalina Film Festival), scored the original series “Tuning In”, available on Amazon Prime Video, music supervised “Who Gets to Sleep with Me Tonight” featured at the NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) Media Summit, while composing the music for the short films “Hex the Patriarchy” (2022), and “THƠ”, which premiered at Outfest Los Angeles Festival 2021. Additionally, Pablo Langaine worked as a Music Supervisor with Ntertain Studios on the TV Show The Montaners (2022), for Disney+.
