Curtis provided drums for my first solo EP. I was blown away immediately with his work. The production was top notch and the beats themselves fit the songs better than I could've imagined. His level of dedication was incredible considering I had never met him before then. It felt like he had been drumming on my songs for years.

I've used Curtis on multiple projects and every time he delivers drum tracks of the highest quality performances. He always goes above and beyond, usually throwing in a few bonus elements to work with I did not even request ! Amazing multi-instrumentalist that will not let you down! He's also one of the coolest, easy going guys on the planet !

Easy to work with, down to earth, super talented, creative, he can do it all folks... what more could you ask for? I have my own studio and have worked in the music industry for almost 20 years and Curtis is always at the top of my list for session work and musical projects. I’ve known and worked with this guy for 15 years. He’s the real deal!

Curtis was called in as a session drummer on my projects first EP at NOP Studios. Blew.me.away. Then i started following him and realized quite quick, that he's also a machine on every instrument put in front of him. You've made a smart choice going with him.

Hands down the easiest session player I've worked with over the years. The explanations I give to Curtis never get lost in translation, he just has the natural ability to deliver a strong track that have feel and groove. Hire him today and I promise you will not be disappointed!

You won't find a better session player. I've worked with Curtis many many times and he's never been anything but a consummate professional and a pleasure to be around. I couldn't recommend him more.

Interview with Cedar Loft Studios

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: My advice is to be honest about what it is that your looking for. The more information that you can provide about your song the better. The clearer your vision, the easier it will be to get your music exactly where you want it to be.

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: I grew up surrounded by a family of musicians that inspired me to want to play. I've been playing drums and guitar for over 25 years.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: I consider myself a bit of a chameleon because of the confidence I have working in multiple genre's.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: I mostly work on rock, pop, country and hip hop style drum programming.

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: My strongest skill is being able to hear what a song does and doesn't need. I tend to lean towards a more simplistic approach unless asked by a client for something complex.

  11. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  12. A: The majority of what I do is, remote session work from my purpose built home studio.
