Gerard Sidhu is a mixer, producer and writer based in Melbourne, Australia. As one half of the international electronic duo, Strange Talk, it is this first-hand experience as a signed artist that’s given Gerard true understanding of the artist and mixer/producer relationship and the intricate process involved.

He has notched up nearly a decade of experience as a producer, mixer and recording artist, creating tracks that saw the No. 1 position on the Billboard Uncharted Charts (Climbing Walls), and in Snapchat’s international advertising campaign (Young Hearts) as well as numerous on-screen features in Hollywood films and TV shows such as The Intern and Glee. This led Gerard to remix international artists from Foster the People through to Jarryd James and Troye Sivan, and work alongside world-renowned mixers such as Rob Kinelski and Tony Hoffer on his own projects. The intimate knowledge as signed artist, mixer and producer, combined with his work ethic saw Gerard mixing & and producing for a wide variety of artist.

I love working with new upcoming artists and know how difficult it is to get a record mixed with a limited budget. I am always open to working out what’s beneficial for the both of us without compromising the result.

Gerard is a very patient and accommodating mixing engineer with essential prior experience as a producer and musician. This was my first time getting a track externally mixed, and I was very grateful that he was more than happy to answer any questions I had on the process, as well as accommodating of all changes I had throughout. Overall very friendly, down to earth, and willing to work with you until the song is right.
Gerard really understood our music and helped us to achieve the sound we wanted. He even went beyond the call of duty in helping improve our beats. He was really persistent in tackling some audio issues that we encountered, didn't give up or complain one bit and kept on at it until everything was solved, and the song sounded great. Thank you Gerard!
Gerard mixed one of my tracks and he took it to the next level it needed. I'm completely happy with the outcome and loved working with Gerard on all levels! We'll definitely be working together for a while!

Gerard has an exceptional ear and has a way of understanding an artist and how to get the best out of the music. I've worked with him on numerous projects and he always delivers high quality music. Highly recommend him for any production, mixing, engineering or songwriting work.
Gerard is a world class producer and engineer. He also has a great understanding of what is a hit and knows how to bring your track to the next level. We've worked on many records together over the years and he's my number one call for all mixing and production jobs. Do your self a favor and book Gerard for your next project.
Gerard is fantastic to work with and delivers excellent production and mixes. Highly recommend working with him in both capacities.
Gerard and I wrote a few tracks together and being in the studio with him was an absolute pleasure. His production skills were exactly what I was looking for with my track “Without You”. I look forward to working with him again in the future!
Gerard's mixes are always enjoyable to work on – I've never had an issue with any of them!
Consistently excellent results, especially for up and coming artists whose songs benefit from that "engagement" factor and movement within the song, enhancing the light and shade where necessary. Recommended!
