I wrote with Aman after one of my shows in LA. We met at the gig, got on straight away and so decided to go back to his house the next day to work on a song together. It was called The Day You Said You Do and I think It’s gonna be a beauitful record when finished and possibly a hit! Aman is so easy going but very focused, a rare combination I find. He knows what he likes and likes a laugh. Couldn’t reccomend working, writing or just hanging out with the guy more. He’s a legend. Harry AKA Waiting For Smith

as an artist, you don’t only want a button pusher. You want someone that is going to add to the energy, give you insight as a listener and possibly spark new ideas during a session. Aman provides you all that and more, best few sessions I’ve had and will be adding more to the list

Aman has the attributes that I personally look for in a producer!
He brings a fresh take to the music, brings it to life so to say! Most importantly for me, not only is he efficient in how he works, he also delivers high quality music and on time!

Interview with Aman Sheriff

  1. Q: How would you describe your style?

  2. A: I'd like to think that I don't necessarily have a style as I think it's important that a producer should adapt to their artists and not the artist adapting to the producer.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: A lot of production sounds very similar now days as everyone is trying to chase a similar sound - My tip is to create your own unique sound that represents you as an artist.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: I mostly work on a lot of Pop, Indie, Hip-Hop tracks as well as Blues and Folk-Rock.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: I'd like to think that I can help artists achieve the sound that's in their head and take it to a higher level.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: It's different with every song. I mostly make sure that the song keeps its emotion before I start adding any production elements, as it's very easy to lose a song with too much going on.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: Finneas, Rick Rubin, Benny Blanco, Mike Crossey, Jeremy Zucker, Lauv and more

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: I'm Producing and Writing for artists, helping their music to stay authentic and have an impact. Then by Mixing & Mastering it's about taking those sonics and elevating them.
