Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I HIGHLY recommend checking out Nat James. This dude has such an amazing energy, not only in his work but also as a human and in communication. And of course his rap skills are absolutely nuts.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: High Quality, Honesty and Uniqueness. And a relatively fast turnaround time cause once I'm on a project, I'M ON :D
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to what your heart tells you. Not your head. If my work really resonates with you, you'll feel it inside. Then hit me up ;)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Uhhm first of all a water generator and food 😂 Then Laptop, Interface and Mic 👀
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Music's been a part of me my whole life! I've started singing and playing around with toy instruments as early as I could get my hands on. Later I took piano lessons in which it turned out that I hate playing after notes so I continued learning it by myself. When I was 13 I joined my first band (we played mostly german soft rock lol) and after that I had a DJ project with my best friend for 3 years. There I started to get into production and songwriting more serious, starting to produce a lot of EDM music and combining it with rap vocals. In 2018 I've started LeftLukas, my first solo project. And after tons of songs, collabs, festival performances, interviews, even TV appearances I'm here - looking back at amazing times and a lot of experience. With the help of my family and friends all that was made possible and I'm truly thankful to be able to pursue my passion in that way!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: BUILD TEMPLATES AND PRESETS. FR :D
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mhh good question. I would say it's my musical understanding (shout out to my ears). I can build a strong emotional play between the vocal melody and production that not everyone can. And I kinda have a knack for harmonies 😁
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: uffff so many! But I got mostly inspired by Linkin Park. They shaped my music so much also cause I was probably listening to this band minimum 2 Million hours :D Other artists that deeply inspire me just in terms of creative uniqueness and innovation are Skrillex, Hans Zimmer, Grabbitz, Machine Gun Kelly, U2 but also newer generations like Eliminate, IMANU, Nitepunk and and and...
