I'm a professional multi-instrumentalist (Piano, Guitar, Tenor Saxophone, Trumpet, Cello, Bass, Mandolin, Theremin, Autoharp, Kalimba, Melodica, songwriter and arranger. I Have arranged brass and strings for a number of albums. I have a home studio setup and can write/record parts for your music!
I am a professional multi-instrumentalist who has been playing professionally since I was 10. I have a First Class Honours degree from the CIT Cork School of Music, where I studied jazz piano, saxophone, classical music, songwriting, composition and arranging. Since then I've been performing with my own band, Rowan, and other artists such as Ariel Posen, Adam Neely, Tiz McNamara, Badly Drawn Boy, LYRA, The Frank & Walters, The Stunning, TOUCAN, Clare Sands, and many others.
As a composer and arranger, I have been commissioned a number of times to write scores for various productions. At the age of 18, I was commissioned to write the music for UCC’s 2015 production of Hedda Gabler. In 2018, Jessica Leen also commissioned me to write the music for her play ‘Two Of Clubs’. In 2019 I was commissioned to arrange a Sharon Shannon & Justin Adams tune called ‘Sacred Earth’ for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. I have also written the string and brass arrangements for the 2018 Rowan EP Asleep In The Rain, 2019 Milky Teeth album ‘Holy Shindig’, Rowan’s ’No One Is Safe Here’ EP, and Dark Tropics ‘Ink’ album. He performed the brass and keys parts on these albums also. The second single from the Dark Tropics album was featured on Billboard’s ’10 Cool New Pop Songs To Get You Through The Week’, describing the string writing as ‘Cinematic, bold, gorgeous, but above all, memorable.'

My second time to work with Dylan and he's again provided some killer bass + electric guitar. His interpretation of the track was spot on + he provided some really creative ideas on top of the arrangement. His ear as an arranger makes him a great choice for instrumentation + he's a total pro with a quick turnaround. I look forward to working with Dylan again!

Dylan is an amazing instrumentalist who interprets what's needed on a track with real skill. I knew my track needed an extra something but wasn't 100% sure what to add - but Dylan took a listen, added some guitar and synths and nailed it in one round! Really like what he brought to the track and I'm excited to work with Dylan in the future!
Dylan nailed not only the kalimba track I needed, but also a theremin track! Very understanding and approachable guy with an extensive musical knowledge, can't wait to work with him again!
Dylan has recorded several instruments for previous projects of mine and is one of the finest and most professional musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with
