Cameron Bailey is a musician, composer, and producer currently living in Los Angeles.
Other than his solo project, Cameron also plays in other bands and plays African style percussion for modern dance and yoga classes. He is the drummer and co-producer for electronic-rock duo, I-Exist (www.iexistband.com). Cam has toured extensively in the U.S. with I-Exist, and international tours in South America and Hong Kong with his jazz trio.
Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Butler University and works as a freelance musician while continuing to play with I-Exist and produce and perform his solo music. He teaches percussion, guitar, and piano lessons in Los Angeles and works as a sound designer and music producer.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My older brother and father play music so this was a natural progression for me growing up. I started playing guitar at a young age and began taking lessons in percussion at 10 years old. I studied music at Butler University and having been teaching and playing professionally for over 20 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Worldly, Tribal, Melodic, Experimental, Rock 'n Roll

A: Professional understanding of rhythm, music theory, and song structure. Good ears for mixing.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Thomas Lang and Steve Gadd are a few of my favorite drummers. Favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, and Billie Eilish. I'm also inspired by EDM producer/DJ Seven Lions, Au5, and CloZee.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Reach out and lets discuss what you're looking for. If I'm the right fit, the great! But if not, that's ok too.

A: Designing presets for live situations for Xfer Serum VST.

A: I'm always writing and creating my own music and with my other group, "I-Exist".

A: Both...if it sounds good, it sounds good!

A: Performing and writing music!

A: The time it takes to fully conceptualize a finished product.

A: What's the end result? When are you expecting a finished product? What's your realistic time expectations.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Drum-set, djembe, congas, acoustic guitar, and a flute!

A: Seven Lions or Au5 to have a better understanding of their sound design and mixing process.

A: Most of my work involves session recordings and sound design for musicals and theatre productions. I also create backing tracks for bands and help produce, mix, and master music. I'm a multi-instrumentalist and specialize in percussion and drum-set.
