I loved working with Yasumi again, he really understands the emotions that need to be worked on!
It's always a pleasure to have someone who pays so much attention to detail.

It's great to work with Yasumi, I explained to him what I had in mind, and he was able to transcribe it into music.
He took the time to produce something wonderful and I thank him enormously for that.
He pays attention to what is said to him and that’s appreciated! - check_circleVerified

Yasumi did an amazing job playing the shamisen on my song. He's obviously a very talented musician. I definitely recommend him. Thank you, Yasumi. 🙏

Yasumi's performance was incredible, he went above and beyond by also providing an extra recording with a more arranged performance, which was very generous of him.
Given the quality of the performance and recording, I cannot recommend him enough if you are in need of a real shamisen - check_circleVerified
I happened to have an Asian song that really needed a shamisen (Japanese guitar), and who better to ask than Yasumi, a professional shamisen player based in Tokyo. The man knows how to play!
Great working experience with Yasumi. Very good and transparent communication and good and unique result. Looking forward to working together again in the future!
Yasumi Miyazawa's music is central to the soundtrack of the global documentary feature, "Let Them Eat Cake" (2015), winner of the Best Documentary Feature award at the Paris Independent Film Festival. His music was also integral to winning the "Gold Award - Sound" from the 2013 Prestige Film Festival for an earlier version of the film, entitled "Pastriology". His music is hauntingly beautiful (and recorded to the highest professional standards). I highly recommend Yasumi Miyazawa for other film scores as well.
