I offer composition for film, broadcast and games with a high degree of originality and imagination. I strive to ensure the soundscape is not just a necessary background element but a story unto itself, with its own plot, characters and direction. This 'musical story' can compliment the on-screen material, or juxtapose it in a way that is enlightening, fresh and becoming very current in 21st century media trends. I specialise in working for orchestral mediums and variations on that, predominantly with live musicians. In addition, electronic elements often find there way into my scores to create a holistic, modern approach to composition.

As an orchestrator and conductor, I can take a composer's score and vision, and accurately convey that intention, on paper, to the orchestra, or musicians in the recording session. My scores are presented with a key focus on legibility, playability and maximum effectiveness for the composer's and director's intentions.

Finally, it is not enough in today's composition industry to just write the music and think it's all over. A strong work ethic and organisational ability assist me in communicating with the team on all levels to ensure no time or money is wasted at any stage of the process. I also have experience with the post-production of music and studios to ensure the addition of custom music is organised and effective.
