Richard Burki is a Grammy Certified engineer, 3D sound artist and producer known for his work with artist such as Max Cooper, Tiesto, David Guetta, The Metropole Orchestra, Joep Beving, Afrojack, Sam Feldt,, Dragonette, Lost Frequencies, Tyga and more.

In 2014 Burki co-founded Future Phonic Studios with his partner Teodora Dimcheva, becoming part of the new wave of immersive audio and the very first Dolby Atmos Music Studio in the Netherlands. His distinctive approach to mixing in 3D formats has become widely recognized and culminated in more than 6 billion streams to date, earning him Gold, Platinum and Diamond certifications.

Burki worked on the Atmos mixes for "Hero" by David Guetta and Afrojack in 2021: a song that leapt to the top of international charts and earned them a Grammy nomination in the category "Best Dance/Electronic Recording" during the 64th annual Grammy Awards in 2022.

Through his company Future Phonic Studios, Burki helped create 3-dimensional auditory experiences for virtual reality, film, games, hybrid and several forms of location based experiences: these include the recently unveiled Outernet experience centre in London, the virtual reality rides in the Amsterdam Tower or the "Taste" 360 Theatre Experience for which Burki co-produced a 16-track album, together with Joep Beving and The Echo Collective.

With a longstanding passion for storytelling, Burki expanded his work to composing and engineering for film, tv and installations since the pandemic; incorporating 3D technology as a key part of his creative process.
