I have 8+ years of vocal recording experience with my Neumann TLM 103 microphone (as used by Billie Eilish) and 10+ years producing and songwriting. I have headlined Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) in 2018 as a backing vocalist, and worked with garage DJ and former BBC Radio 1 presenter DJ Spoony to provide backing vocals for various top garage artists including ‘Artful Dodger’, ‘Sweet Female Attitude’, ‘So Solid Crew’ and ‘Kele Le Roc’.

I trained Pop vocals at the Royal Northern College Of Music and was coached by Wayne Ellington (as seen on The Voice). During my time there, I developed a unique character in my singing voice and the ability to sing a broad range of styles. I have been commended for my skills by Everything Everything, and interviewed live on BBC Radio Stoke about my creative process and original music.

I have a vocal booth set up that runs with a Neumann TLM 103 microphone. Vocals will be clean - no tuning or comping needed.

My most successful track 'Swimming Closer' was performed and written by me, and co-produced with Andy Gannon who has worked on the likes of Rudimental, Clean Bandit & Robbie Williams. It achieved multiple national in-store plays at the Co-op and gained support from the likes of CLOUT, Barely Listening, Artist Radar and more.

Interview with Charlie Treanor

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My mentor and vocal tutor Wayne Ellington, from 'The Voice, UK' is the person that inspires me the most. He's taught me a next level approach to singing and has really helped me to develop my tone through the years.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly record male lead vocals, however as an experienced recording artist I have produced & written a ton of songs. If you're after anything else please hit me up, I'm very down for using my production and synth skills. All the HAZY tracks you hear have been written and produced by me.
