What if I only need a shaker tracked, how much? My minimum rate for one instrument is $ 20. (stem included)

Larry is super easy to work with and gets great sounds. Super stoked to have found such a great resource. Highly recommended.
Although your song did not need percussion, you should hire him because his musical ideas are so good that your song would improve 100% ... but in case you are looking for the best hand percussion for your song, you will not find anyone more creative, enthusiastic, communicative and amazing percussionist than he... Thanks, Larry... :)

Interview with HandPercussionTracks
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I have been averaging three projects a week though various platforms. Recently I was hired to record the drum parts for the "Paths to Glory" film trailer. I am currently working on an E-Book project with a Norwegian based media company. Past that a lot of hip hop, singer songwriter and world music tracks.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Give me as much info as you can. What do you want rhythmically? If you want a tambourine track, do you want a "jingly" sound or a dry sound. Do you have a specific pattern in mind? If they aren't sure I am perfectly comfortable trying out different ideas until the right vibe is found.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All types, all styles. I have recorded tracks for bands in Turkey, Brazil, Tanzania, Poland, Germany, Scotland, Wales, Norway, Israel, Canada, Holland, India, England, Ukraine, French Guiana, and numerous artists/bands/songwriters and producers in the U.S.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I just completed a rhythm and blues track for a TV commercial here in the states. Everything was done online and charted out for me. The arranger and producer knew exactly what they wanted. After my parts were finished they informed me the music was for a national level car commercial. The moral of the story is, you never know who you could be working for. This is why I give 110 % on all my online recording work.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: 100 % guarantee when you're happy my job is done.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Working on tracks that I have never heard before. Adding that "fifth gear" to things that were lacking or missing something.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: I don't get too many questions, I keep the info on my services specific.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: At times I will ask several questions, its a time saving method on my part. When people ask me "can you track a conga part in my choruses" ? I will try and focus in on the specifics. Quite often people are unsure, at that point I will offer several examples and let them pick what works best.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Ive been a professional musician for over 25 years. I have percussion credits on hundreds of tracks, from D.I.Y. singer songwriters to major label funded projects. For film and TV, I have credits globally in the hundreds.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Simple when needed, aggressive when the times right.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Listen and play for the music, treat each project if it were your own.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Concentration, professionalism, time management and follow through.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My biggest thing is feel, make it feel good, make it sit right-dont overplay.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depends on the project. If someone wants a maraca track (for example) I typically ask a few questions. Do you want a mono or stereo track ? Do you want a mixture of natural room sound ? I don't have any one single process since I have to wear a lot of hats rhythmically.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: its simple and straightforward. I use percussion specific mic's and years of experience with an understanding of how to capture the best sounds.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Anyone who is successful, unique and honest.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I do recording jobs from the simple to extreme. Anything from an egg shaker track to a fully orchestrated percussion track. I have online sessions credentials ranging from the D.I.Y. artist to Walt Disney Studios.
