Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Guitar, Paper, Pen, Percussion, Drums.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Moving membranes since 2001. I am a seasoned artist and engineer with 20 years of experience. I learned my basic skills at the SAE Institute, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Audio Production) degree. In addition, I have been self-employed for over 10 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Unique.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Yelawolf, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko because I really appreciate their understanding of music and their professionalism.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Often times less is more.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly I like to work on HipHop / Rap, but I am also very experienced in the field of electronic music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ears.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Me, my experience and understanding of the artist.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Every song and every customer is different. I always try to adapt to it, although I have acquired a well-functioning scheme for quickly processing my work.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work with Logic X. My studio is calibrated with the IK Multimedia ARC3 system. I also have the opportunity to do vocal and guitar recordings. The Brauner Phantom Classic is the favorite piece in my setup.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Anyone and anything can be a source of inspiration for me. There are no limits to the genre.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I prefer to mix and master. Other strengths of mine also lie in the arrangement and production process.
